If you’re attendingCONEXPO-CON/AGGin Las Vegas next month, chances are, your plans include a visit to Caterpillar’s exhibit. Traditionally an anchor exhibit, this time will be no different.
Caterpillar recently reported plans to feature itslargest exhibit to date at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2023, March 14-18, where the company will showcase its latest products, services and technologies while paying tribute to those who build the world’s infrastructure.
The company’s 70,000-square-foot outdoor demonstration arena will anchor the massive Operator Stadium located atF9127 in the expo’s Festival Lot.
To dig more into what attendees can expect from the world’s largest construction equipment manufacturer at the show, we talked with Andrea Clayton, marketing manager with Caterpillar. Following is what she had to say:
CONEXPO-CON/AGG 365: Caterpillar is such a dominant presence at CONEXPO-CON/AGG. What is the company’s message for this show?
Clayton:Cat Operator Stadium is home to more than 30 machines – including model unveilings and battery-electric model prototypes complete with charging solutions on display.
We’ve also focused on three main messages that we know are critical to our customers - servicing and supporting their equipment, innovations with technology in the industry (both on the machine and to support efficiency and productivity on the job site) and sustainability - with a heavy focus on solutions we have in place today to support fuel and job site efficiency and extend the life of equipment.
Our priority is to provide choices for all customers – no matter what size – to do the work they need to get done.
CONEXPO-CON/AGG 365: Will there be new features and/or events in the exhibit? What can attendees expect to see?
Clayton:In addition to an expanded Technology Hub that will give attendees the opportunity for hands-on experience with the latest machine and job site technology, as well as our Services Hub which features Caterpillar parts, services, and solutions, we’ve added a third dedicated experience related to sustainability.
The Sustainability Hub features the right size machines for the job and focuses on fuel efficiency, alternative power sources, and technologies to fit every operation and budget. Here you will learn about sustainability solutions that you can choose today and plan for tomorrow.
We’ll also be showcasing three live demonstrations Wednesday through Friday, March 15-17. Visitors will see two main equipment demonstrations each day; one focused on the latest Cat Technology, and one that will spotlight the company’s full equipment line up.
Additionally, Caterpillar will be providing unique daily spotlight demonstrations that will take a deep dive into key industry topics including improving fuel efficiency and job site efficiency, the evolution of technology, and convenient, scalable solutions for all customers.
CONEXPO-CON/AGG 365: Is there a line of equipment, a service or a type of technology that will be especially emphasized? If so, why?

CONEXPO-CON/AGG 365: What are some general tech trends attendees can expect to learn about through a visit to Caterpillar at the show?
Clayton:An experience you won’t forget is waiting for you with a chance to operate machines across the globe in one of our Command stations. Our demonstrator instructors are ready to guide you in operating equipment in Tinaja, AZ and Clayton, NC from right in our exhibit in Vegas.
Whether you are an experienced operator or someone who’s always wanted to try their hand, we’d love to have you experience the comfort and safety of our Command stations. Plus, don’t miss your chance to score some extra special giveaways by participating in our PayDirt Challenge.
Our hub wouldn’t be complete without a look at some of the technologies that are available from the factory on our machines. Grade, payload and compact options help maximize your productivity and in turn, increase efficiency and your bottom line.
CONEXPO-CON/AGG 365: How have things changed for Cat and its customers since the last CONEXPO-CON/AGG in 2020, and how might that be reflected in your tradeshow presence this time?
